Port of South Louisiana Executive Regional Airport (KAPS) Waives All Fees for Aircraft in Need of Refuge from Hurricane Irma
Paul Aucoin, Executive Director of the Port of South Louisiana, announced today that all fees for airport use will be waived for aircraft in need of refuge from Hurricane Irma. Aircraft operators are asked to contact Executive Regional Airport Director, Vincent Caire at the email or numbers above prior to departure to assure space remains available.
“We are pleased to offer our facilities and assist in any way possible during this time of need.” said Port Director Paul Aucoin, accompanied by airport committee members and Aviation Committee Chairman Joey Murray.
The Port of South Louisiana Executive Regional (KAPS) is a general and business aviation airport located approximately 20 miles west of New Orleans International (KMSY) and offers a 5,150’ X 75’ runway, Jet-A and self-serve AvGas fuel.
