Executive Regional Airport Services
The Port of South Louisiana acquired operations of the Port of South Louisiana Executive Regional Airport, formerly operated by St. John the Baptist Parish, in the summer of 2009. Since then, the Port hit the ground running with plans of revitalizing an airport established in the early 1990s and is well on its way of providing a premier business aviation destination! The Port of South Louisiana’s goal is to incorporate cargo services to the Executive Regional Airport in the future.
The Executive Regional Airport’s close proximity to Globalplex Intermodal Terminal, the Port’s public facility, rounds out the intermodality of the terminal by conceivably allowing the Port to move cargo by water, rail, highway, and air.
